*Marquis Jet Card Owners can fly ferry free between the Collective Service Area (includes the continental United States and select cities in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec) and the specific ferry waiver zone for the aircraft type purchased. Aircraft in the NetJets U.S. fleet are categorized into four groups which are based on aircraft type and range, with zones expanding to correspond to the range of the aircraft in the group.

Deadhead Fees

Typically associated with charter, Deadhead Fees apply to flights when the aircraft is empty either on the way to pick up passengers for a flight or on the way back after dropping passengers off. There are no Deadhead Fees for the flights operated by NetJets in the Marquis Jet Card program.

Positioning Fees (aka ferry fees)

Fees that are customarily charged to position or reposition the aircraft for flights. A positioning fee may be required to get the aircraft to your desired departure point. There are no Positioning fees in the Marquis Jet Card program for flights operated by NetJets within the Collective Service Area; and, with the NetJets Ferry Waiver Program for Marquis Jet Card Owners there are also no Positioning Fees to many of the most popular destinations around the globe.

Ferry Fees or Ferry Charges

a.k.a positioning fees, these are fees that are customarily charged to position or reposition the aircraft for flights. Collective Service Area

The Collective Service area in the NetJets and Marquis Jet Card programs is comprised of the continental United States and select cities in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec (as of July 1, 2008). NetJets aircraft can fly within the Collective Service Area and between the Collective Service Area and the most popular destinations around the world without customary ferry fees.
